ICONISM IN RASTAFARI.
CHAPTER 3: THE ICONS OF RASTAFARI. The icons of Rastafari vary from branch to branch, these are all reggae music c.d., s and c.d. covers one can usually see portraits of Haile Selassie adorning the album cover.
Other symbols are Coptic crosses and Kabalistic imagery (Cabbalism is an ancient Hebrew esoteric art it is a corruption of Judaism).

The iconographies in Rastafari have their origins in Hinduism and Cabbalism.
The Egyptian Ankh representing fertility can be seen in most video footage of Bob Marley in concert.
The lyrics sung in reggae music are dedications to Haile Selassie, and they also extol Cannabis as a sacred plant, this is called idolatry in scripture from gods perspective reggae music that extol the above described items is in fact idol worship.
The effects of Cannabis abuse are dangerous to the human mind and body.
Cannabis use drastically reduces weight it also over time creates memory loss, slowed awareness lessens the cognitive abilities.
Fainting spells mild heart attacks aggressive behavior, out of body experiences, hallucigenic experience seeing into the spirit realm this is called hallucination by modern science).
The thrust of this chapter is to identify the icons they have been identified the purpose for their identification is simple if you are a Christian and your child is associated with Rasta’s as friends and he or she is not leading them to Christ then inadvertently they are being initiated into the cult by their friends .

The demon god Baal was worshipped with lewd sex acts in many different forms, famous Baal worshippers in the bible are Jezebel and Ahab.
A Cannabis smoker is in effect honoring a demon called Baal and are considered to be their slave, whether you know this or not or believe it or not is of no consequence, the things I have just reiterated are all part of God ordained laws.
If you are a young Christian already involved you are in a very dangerous situation, how will you reconcile smoking Cannabis with church attendance knowing that it is against the laws of the God you claim to serve , you are in active deliberate sin and will sink deeper into bondage of the drug.

Marijuana or Marihuana is of Mexican origin originally used to refer to a poor grade of Tobacco.
Later it came to mean a smoking preparation made from the Hemp Plant Cannabis Sativa.

If your child is a Cannabis user the influence is either Hip-Hop or Rastafari oriented no matter the origin of the influence the true origin is Satan.

Cannabis was first cultivated in the Caribbean as a cash crop this was exploited by political as well as criminal interests for financial gain hereby supplying the eager North American market.
Soon the entire region developed a taste for the drug this became evident in the mid eighties, when the popularity of Bob Marley and the Wailers were at a peak.
The phenomena of Cannabis abuse in the Caribbean region being seen as a normal thing is what social scientists call conditioning.
The youth in the region have been conditioned to think and feel that way by the popular culture i.e. reggae and Rap music.
This means that Rastafari has negatively impacted the region as far as the social culture of the average youth is concerned.
A truly grounded concept of Rastafari was never fully developed in the Caribbean .
While Rastafari purport to be freedom fighters breaking the chains of mental slavery.
Through their promotion of Cannabis use as a sacrament, they have caused many in the region to become drug addicts, and socially inept incompetent individuals who are either unable or unwilling to become productive members of the society.
Rastafari claim to be healers although some of them can and have performed various healings the source of the healing is questionable if the origin of the healing came outside of Jesus Christ, then the healing came from a Satanic force.
Can Satan work for a perceived good cause? Yes scripture declare that he can transform himself into an angel of light.
Any Satanic healing is only to convince recipient and practitioner of these healing efforts hereby trapping the healed in a web of deceit.
Examples of forces outside of the Holy Ghost performing healings are rife in the bible.
Examples of healings can also be observed at any psychic channeling session for one to believe a thing on must have tangible proof or evidence this is the reason all things that ministers of Christ can perform Satan seeks to emulate . The workings of Satan are bondage creating the work of Jesus frees one from satanic deception and lies.
Jesus has the power to give life he also has power over death Satan can only bring about death and destruction through his various means of sorcery and deception.
The average Rastafari is a practioner of the ancient art of witchcraft called elemental magic.
Though this term might be upsetting to the bonafide Rastafari channeler or Healer he or she is well aware that their so called power has a corrupting influence on them.
The musicians within this branch of paganism continue to be the forerunners of this branch of paganism in the world today.
The term paganism here is not used derogatorily by any means but it is a term of designation as the art of channeling is described biblically as witchcraft and is called an abomination.
The word art or craft here designates a trade or a practice that is plied in order to meet ones personal needs.
The reggae art in this instance is one of the means these modern day Shamans meet financial needs the healing that they bring to communities is questionable.
There are no mass community changes being observed because of the Rastafari message being spread by the Reggae musicians.
The communities in the region are still under the yoke of neo-colonial structures and are increasingly plagued by gang activity carried out by youth.
The reason there is no mass change in the region as a result of the message of the Rastafari being spread is as a result of the spirit that guides them the spirit of Anti-Christ is the guiding force in every doctrine that is man made any spirit that opposes or comes against Jesus Christ is Anti-Christ that personality is Satan himself.
The curses that are connected with the practice of paganism are manifested in the region this is the reason no mass community changes will ever be observed using as a vehicle the doctrine of paganism.
Any perceived positive change will only bear fruit for a certain period and will then stagnate and spoil those that it was said to help .
The only change that can be brought about that will be permanent and long lasting is the preached gospel of Jesus Christ unto salvation.
And the mass involvement of Christians in the creation of our own literature, aimed at exposing and destroying the stronghold of all pagan cults in the region.
The very spirit of Anti-Christ is what one is worshipping and honoring upon initiation into any cult Satan will then become your lord and master.
Any Christian person who has turned from the way of Jesus is illegally trespassing on grounds set aside for the work of evil spirits.
You will suffer the consequences as you are considered by the demons to be a threat and they will seek to destroy your life since it is their job to inflict bondage on people who are illegally on their territory.
In scripture, we have ample proof of the activity of devils and their work amongst men.
Leviticus 17:7 we see in this scripture God outlawed the practice of his people prostituting themselves before goat demons idolatry is akin to prostitution since we see that a child of God is married to God. In Deuteronomy 32; 17 we have an example of such.
I would like to describe a ritual carried out on two young women by a woman who is a Rastafari she is a practioner of the Japanese modern form of Buddhism called Riki.
Her desire is to help people she believes that she is doing some good, but the way in which she wants to bring this about is wrong, her method is wrong it is a demonic entrapment and because her source is demonic, she is deceived.
The women were asked to sit in a circle a cup of water representing the elements, fire, water, earth, and wind.
Fire was represented by a lighted candle, wind could not be trapped a crystal representing the energy force of wind was placed on the floor, a glass of water represented the element water, some dirt was placed on the floor this quite naturally represented the earth.
In this ritual we see the pagan aspect being carried out in paganism Earth, Wind, Water and Fire are all sacred to the pagan they are revered as representative of four distinct spirit beings all of whom are actually worshipped by pagans, in witchcraft these elements are also called the four elemental spirit’s .
The ritual further consisted of chanting and the holding of hands, at a certain point the Rastafari woman attempted to rename these women giving them names that would identify them as her students.
She then breathed into the ear of the women, then on the crown of their heads.
One of the women said that the voice of the woman suddenly changed into a guttural masculine voice, a presence then manifested in the room as the ritual progressed, they were instructed to repeat the name of one of the spirit guides of the witch, who was in effect guiding them through an induction ceremony, into the occult.
They were told that the spirit guide was their lord, and that they must confess this verbally.
One of the women bluntly refused ending the initiation process abruptly.
The Rastafari woman became enraged, demanding to know why the girl did not confess lordship of the demon spirit, she said she did not believe and left the house very much afraid.
After the ritual the young woman in question, a bright university student was reduced to talking to plants and walking about aimlessly late at night.
A Rastafari channeler was knowingly initiating these two female students into an occult art.
Both women were fellow students and acquaintances of mine at the time.
The woman who led the initiation process is the former wife of a well-known Rastafari in certain circles in the Antilles ; he has visited Sint Maarten many times.
Many Rastafari are involved in the occult and are misleading some of the brightest and most gifted young people.
In the time of Moses, we read that the penalty for the sin of idolatry was death.
Many young Christians are increasingly becoming involved in the occult practices around them.
Here are some examples of what God thinks about the occult exodus 22:18
Says: “Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live,” in that time, that statement was meant literally.
Iam in no way advocating the killing of anyone, I only use the bible to show the perspective of God, therefore people will not be given an opportunity to twist my words and cause confusion as a result of my writing.
Not only street drugs are sorcerous in their effects on people prescription drugs can also produce the same effect if abused, if you are dependant on prescription drugs you are a drug addict.
Alcohol is a drug that is abused by many Christians who quote scripture out of context, “use a little wine for your stomachs sake”. They fail to quote the other scripture that states wine is a mocker strong drink is raging.
The bible declares that everything a son of God consumes must be done in moderation.
