US report confirms T&T as top supplier of ISIS fighters per capita in Western Hemisphere.

Image
The United States' Government has confirmed that Trinidad and Tobago had the highest per capita rate of ISIS recruitment in the Western Hemisphere in 2016 but says there are no known indigenous or foreign terrorist groups operating in Trinidad and Tobago. The Information forms part of the 2016 Country Reports on Terrorism, released by the US Department of State today. The report states that more than 70 nationals of Trinidad and Tobago are believed to be fighting with ISIS in Syria . It says the Financial Intelligence Unit uncovered 182 suspicious transactions involving possible terrorist financing in 2016, all of which were under investigation at year’s end. But the US notes that Trinidad and Tobago is a willing U.S. counterterrorism partner and quickly accepted offers of assistance to share border security information, develop a strategy to counter violent extremism, and prosecute terrorists. The following is the portion of the report that relates to...

Heed Muslims’ grievances or more will go to ISIS from Trinidad and Tobago.

Image
The following post from the Guardian newspaper on Trinidad and Tobago is a salient potent reality of the eminent threat that the Islamic State poses not only Trinidad and Tobago but the Caribbean in general. Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean is being used by Salafist groups, as an experiment in asserting Sunni Islamist hegemony in the region. The article was published on   Sunday, June 25, 2017. Hajj Nezar Hamze, centre, speaks during a function with local Muslim representatives last week. PHOTO: MICHEAL BRUCE Heed the grievances of T&T Muslims or people may become susceptible to the Islamic State’s (ISIS) recruitment pitches. This is because Isis recruiters will not stop working and legislation alone may not curb the situation in T&T. That advice has been telegraphed to Government by Hajj Nezar Hamze, a US deputy sherrif from Broward County in Florida, who is an expert in countering the narrative of violent extremism and terrorist organi...

The Guyanese al-Qaeda operative and the third most wanted man on the FBI’s terror list.

CARICOM WAS WARNED ABOUT THE THREAT OF MUSLIM EXTREMISM FROM GUYANESE MUSLIMS. In the presence of representatives from more than 25 countries, the international and regional community had been warned, that should there be any Caribbean involvement in terrorist activities. That the likelihood that there would be black Guyanese involved was almost 100% certain. The warning was made in 2005 by a Guyanese delegate who had made a study on the structure of Islam in Guyana, at an international Caricom seminar for a Small Business training program.  The majority of black Guyanese men he noted were converted to Islam while in prison. The disaffected poorly educated men in prison are fertile soil for radicalization. Above left Abdul Kadir is the exact opposite of the profile given for radicalization by the delegate. Kadir is a former Guyanese parliamentarian, who was arrested along with his cohorts in the middle and right, in the plot to blow up the Kennedy International Airport in New ...

Proof that Dana Seetahal’s murder was conducted by professional hit men.

In an article titled “ No takers for $ 3.5m reward offered for Dana’s killer ” published in the Sunday Guardian of May 11, 2014 the Minister of National Security of T&T is reported as stating that there is no evidence that the assassination of May 4, 2014 was the “ work of highly trained individuals”. The minister is reported as stating that the shooter used a small handgun at close range to effect the assassination and there was no Latin American gang killer, sniper or hired assassin. The minister is then insisting that the assassination was the product of home grown talent and that the modus operandi was in effect not a well-planned, precision attack. The minister is well advised to grasp the political reality and insist that the assassination was the action of transnational organised crime and rally the nation around the present government in light of this most potent threat.  Because after the dismantling of SAUTT and the covert civilian intelligence agencies t...

My Apologies: The Hit on Dana Seetahal was a Transnational Drug Trafficking Organization Job.

To those at UWI who insist that my work is fabrication and myth necessitating my dismissal from UWI please note that Brownfield is also speaking myths. The question arises as to the nature of and the agenda of the string puller at UWI? A link with the Brownfield position is listed above ”. William Brownfield does not speak from the basis of crime scene data. Brownfield is the designated US Federal government spokesperson on this issue and he is s...

INTERVIEW: Abu Sa’d at-Trinidadi.

In 2003 I authored a book entitled: “ Rastafari and its Hindu Origins”, on page 83 I wrote: The Caribbean region will figure greatly in the upcoming years as a region that is part of the Arab Israeli question. The island of Trinidad and Tobago has gone unnoticed in international circles as a haven for extremist Muslim rhetoric. The attempted coup by the Jamaat al-Muslimeen , is an example of Muslim extremism in the rtegion. Extremists in Trinidad will prove to be a security threat in the region in years to come. The tendency of Arab extremist organizations to train and finance Muslim extremists in other parts of the world have proven true in Trinidad and Tobago!  What follows is an interview with a Islamic State fighter from Trinidad and Tobago (Caribbean). Just as in Belgium, Bengal, France and many other nations globally, before carrying out operations in those countries. The Islamic State always interviewed a key member, from the area knowledgeable with specific cities’ infr...
