SHIVA THE SUPREME YOGI.

© Copyrights RMND 2004-2009    The Chakral path begins at the base of the spine where the Kundalini “ supreme cosmic presence lies ” traditionally (Kundalini is portrayed as a coiled serpent i.e. a serpent “spirit.” Once Kundalini is “awakened” i.e. summoned or called forth by aid of mantras or chants, the Kundalini travels through the Chakral path, from the base of the spine upwards to the crown of the head the successful completion of which enables “god” consciousness or awareness, according to Hindu precepts and modern- understanding of Yoga usually though, the terms are changed Kundalini is called an energy or force in contemporary terms. One must bear in mind however, that Kundalini does not represent the force of the practioner, Kundalini is represented as a separate “entity”, or spirit distinguishable from that of the practioner, therefore as per Hindu teaching awakening Kundalini is in fact a “religious” practice.
