In a devastating acknowledgment of internal corruption, Prison Director Rohan (himself the subject of a criminal investigation), accused the guards at Point Blanche prison of corruption. Something that I have indicated ad Infinium in numerous post’s on this Blog. Last week police found a firearm, numerous phones and makeshift weapons at the Point Blanche detention center. Rohan claimed that the contraband items were being brought into the facility, by nightshift guards “ against payment ”.  Rohan vehemently refuted statements that contraband was being trafficked by visitors to the facility: “ During the past two years we haven’t caught a single visitor in an attempt to things inside. Visitors do not want to miss the opportunity to see their loved ones. If we catch them for smuggling items they will be immediately and permanently denied access. We are controlling very well”.
