Chibok girls refuse to leave Boko Haram.

A video released by Jamā’at Ahl al-Sunnah li-l-Da’wah wa-l-Jihād aka Boko Haram shows four black-clad girls all of whom are veiled with only their eyes, visible the video bears the logo of the Islamic State which is an indication that these girls may be in the custody of the faction aligned to IS. The girls’ spokesperson is second from left in the video she spoke Hausa, then switched to her native dialect; she is holding an AK47 while answering questions posed a male who is not visible.   The video was initially sent to Boko Haram expert Ahmed Salkida, and published by Sahara Reporters online. The girl acting as spokesperson on behalf of the other: “ We don’t want to reunite with our parents because they are not worshipping Allah, and I urge you to join us,” she said .   “We have not been forcefully married to anybody. Since last August, they were detained under guard by Turkish authorities who investigated why they were in the country, before finally deporting them. The baby, named Jacob, was born in late December. His mother was five-months pregnant when she left Trinidad with her husband and nine others to travel to the Middle East. Efforts by Sunday Newsday yesterday to contact the baby’s parents were unsuccessful, but it was confirmed by immigration sources at Piarco International Airport, that the family endured almost seven hours of questioning by Special Branch officers along with the other deportees.
