THE RASTAFARI SECT'S.

                  

Rastafari has various branches and organizations we will examine the main organizations of influence and their general hierarchy even though some people claim that Rastafari is generally a non-hierarchical culture I will disprove this assertion.

The culture is indeed not very structured and varies in it’s makeup from country to country.

It has a defined hierarchy wherever it is found. The twelve tribes of Israel under the leadership of Vernon Carrington or Gad has been one of the most influential offshoot organizations of this culture.

The twelve tribes of Israel as they are called are comprised ;largely of musicians and authors, artist’s and a variation of educated laborer’s the twelve tribes of Israel do prescribe to biblical precepts much was already said concerning this branch of Rastafari I will not rehash my statements here.

Another offshoot is the Boboshanti, s who were virtually unknown until they opened to outsiders, after the death of their founder prince Emmanuel.

Emmanuel proclaimed himself a messiah, they keep a type of Sabbath and use Cannabis for purposes already made known in earlier portions of this work.

The Bobo, s are generally friendly and did allow people into their village and shared food with them.

They can be seen all over Jamaica in their unique Turbans both men and women.

The Nyabinghis are an order that has adopted certain of ideology from a secret African society that had as its edict death to all White and Black oppressors, some people take the edict literally calling them racists.

No documented evidence has ever been produced of racism perpetuated by the Nyabinghi’ yet ignorant persons make such claims.

I have lightly touched on the varying branches or sects within Rastafari an in depth study will be to exhaustive here and will require the writing of an entire book, suffice it to say that the purpose of this particular work has been served in that it has achieved its end namely the identification of various Rastafari sects.

Ask the average Caribbean Person about the Rastafari older people will say that they are criminals; the majority of the young will speak positively of Rasta’s.

In this work the Rastafari is not represented as the lumpeen criminal elements of society or some simplistic notion of a dirty black male with uncombed unwashed locks those are lies and myths created by simple minds.

Rastafari in this work are identified by the leadership those who started the movement.

The majority of Rastafari claim to promote African repatriation yet the Shashmane settlement in Ethiopia supports a meager amount of Rastafari who eek out a living on barely arable land.

Many reggae stars claim Ethiopia as a promised land very few of them have actually been to Ethiopia. Fewer still have established a structured cooperative in Ethiopia or on Shashmane.

Shashamane is a land grant deeded by Haile Selassie to the people of African ancestry living in the western hemisphere who would like to migrate to Africa.

Haile Selassie said that he would prefer the “right type of people” to come to Shashamane he openly stated that educated people were the preferred person that he wished came to Ethiopia from the West to aid in social uplift.

The ideology of Haile Selassie was indeed universally a wise ideology for it is more profitable to all if persons with a profession and also the actual will and desire to work towards the Advancement of African civilization that would be of use in any migration of Diaspora Africans to Africa.

Video footage of Shashamane will attest to deplorable living conditions with few technologically capable persons available to actually realize a true paradise in Ethiopia.

The dream of Rastafari to repatriate enmasse back to Ethiopia has yet to materialize.

The entire Caribbean region has a history steeped in slavery and colonialism.

The bible was introduced to the region by Europeans most of whom were not Christian.

The average high school student in the Caribbean will have learnt that Columbus was a discoverer who discovered the islands in the Caribbean.

What Columbus truly did was use the bible as a tool of dominance and enslavement the spirit of colonialism is a spirit of witchcraft therefore Columbus was a criminal and a thief he was never a Christian since he was breaking the laws in the very bible that he held in his hand .

The murderer and criminal who enslaved and deciminated the indigenous inhabitants of the Caribbean islands.

Many uneducated people in the Caribbean of African ethnicity teach in their churches that this criminal was a Christian and a hero, this work emphatically states that Columbus was a criminal who died of Syphilis a sexually transmitted disease. This individual is not worthy of praise nor veneration of any sort.

True education is geared toward the engendering of the concept of nation building not in the miseducation directed at youth in the educational institutions and the so called Christian institutions in the Caribbean today.

This is according to European history Iam only paraphrasing them.

Any attempt by anyone to lionize Columbus is an exercise in futility a true study of history will reveal that he was a greedy, criminal with a great knowledge of navigation he was an educated individual he used his talents to elevate himself which is a very human trait, therefore we should never lionize proven criminals we should call a thief a criminal not a crusader.

Many Kittitians foolishly and naively claim that Columbus brought Christianity to their island and was an Evangelist.

That type of teaching is adopted from the T.B.N. variety as dispersed regionally through the “Caribbean Beacon”, the T.B.N. version of “god ordained government”, is a fallacy as they attempt to make America some sort of God ordained government likening America to Israel of anciency nothing could be farther from the truth America is simply a secular government which will be destroyed like all secular governments black and white, they will be subjugated by Jesus himself and then he will rule the earth from Jerusalem.

This work is a deliberate departure from the insanity of the past and seeks to optimally inform both Christian and non-Christian youth alike about the historical events that shaped our region and that still shapes our reality today.

Many people will seize on the ignorance of some concerning the events that shaped world history.

In order to recruit youngsters into their fold, they will cite the fact that since Columbus claimed to be a Christian and he went about pillaging and robbing this makes Christianity something the white man created in order to subjugate and enslave black people.

Any one who is familiar with true world history will know that Europe under Roman Catholicism was anything but Christian what it is, is a political doctrine that virtually enslaved Europe and the rest of the world at that time.

The true European Christians like the Waldenses the Wesleyans Protestants and many others were people who fought against the policy of Roman domination.

Rome dominated the whole world in the time of Christ and is attempting to reclaim its place of world dominion under the ruler ship of the E.U. (European Union) which was once the Holy Roman German Empire ruled by the Habsburgs.

The bible contrary to popular belief was translated into English for the very first time by John Wesley, due to the growing contention between England and the papal authorities in Rome King James authorized Francis Bacon to translate the bible from Greek( The Septuagint) to English.

A look at European history will show that in the dark ages it was illegal to believe in Jesus Christ as the son of God or that he was the son of God: many Christians were burned at the stake and fed to the lions in the Roman coliseums of the time.

Christians (people who were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and filled with The Holy Ghost Acts 2:38 no one else is a son of God unless they have gone through the regenerative process described above) were persecuted and killed by the authorities so much so that a group of English Christians called the pilgrim fathers went to Holland and America, called the New World.

The men called the Pilgrim Fathers founded the Republic called America and declared it a Christian nation.

Some people point to the atrocities committed by the descendants of the pilgrims against the Indians.

What happened to the Indians was an atrocity they were exterminated and robbed of their land, they were forced unto reservations by white men claiming to be Christians.

We see from this cursory glance at history that the bible in the hands of many Europeans has been used as a tool of domination and subjugation of human beings.

The fact that many Europeans tried to use the bible as a means of deception has not succeeded as the ones that they oppressed and subjugated took the bible for what it is and freed themselves from the yoke of tyranny.

During the American Revolution, we saw men and women who were nominally free like Harriet Tubman and Frederick Douglas who did not attempt to hide their Christian Faith.

These people were true freedom fighters they led slaves not only to physical freedom but also to spiritual freedom in Jesus Christ.

Many persons will point to the conduct of charlatans and fakes using Christianity for their own means of self-advancement while many have tried to use truth to cloak falsehood they will not prosper.

The body of Christ in the earth remains God ordained government. Who will rule and take dominion from the adversary not through empty rhetoric but through the active advancement of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
