 We at this Blog view global events as the fulfillment of Bible prophecy and we report on geopolitical events, using the Bible and Apostolic doctrine to inform our worldview. While we write often pertinent to terrorism, we abhor and deplore the brutal and senseless violence that the terrorists inflict on their fellow human beings in the name of Islam. The fact that Christians and the doctrines as laid down in the Holy Bible are the targets of the Islamic State, we are duty bound to report on the Islamic State, not only as mere reportage but as a sacred duty since IS is an existential threat to anyone who merely names the name of Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
                     
In the latest video message from its “Inside the Caliphate”, series narrated in English and Pilipino,  a call to action is made for believers specifically from, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei and Singapore to make hijrah (immigrate), to the Philippines in order to fight (jihad) against the government forces of the Duterte regime.
The video depicts Islamic State fighters in Marawi fighting against soldiers there. The footage shows various churches that were destroyed; Roman Catholic depictions of Mary and several crucifixes were torn down and destroyed, in keeping with the Koranic prohibition against idolatry (shirk).
