The girls’ spokesperson is second from left in the video she spoke Hausa, then switched to her native dialect; she is holding an AK47 while answering questions posed a male who is not visible.   The video was initially sent to Boko Haram expert Ahmed Salkida, and published by Sahara Reporters online. An Indispensable Though Imperfect Unity – By Shaykh Abu Mahmud al-Filistini.

Translated in English and published by Al-Maqalaat on April 30, 2017 Original text in Arabic published by al-Filistini in April 2017. An Indispensable Though Imperfect Unity “The group that is closest to the truth on the arena of a defensive Jihaad, which repels the transgressing enemy and is waging a battle of the Ummah, carrying this enormous weight and accepted this heavy trust which is hated by the souls as Allah said “fighting is prescribed for you though hate it” and sacrificed dozens and thousands of martyrs and wounded. While the majority of the Ummah is observing and those whom Allah granted success support it by their words. It is obligatory for the Ummah to support such a group and dismiss their stumbles and forgive their mistakes as long as they are in the realms of jurisprudential exertion (Ijtihaad). And they must follow the manners of leniency and mercy in giving advice and correction. The scholars throughout history were suppor...

BABY BOY BORN IN TURKEY AMONGST THOSE DEPORTED TO TRINIDAD.

Azard Ali and Corey Connelly Sunday, April 30, 2017 Reposted from newsday.cott A FOUR-MONTH-OLD boy born in Turkey and a two-year-old boy were among the 12 nationals who returned home from the embattled Middle East country on Friday. Since last August, they were detained under guard by Turkish authorities who investigated why they were in the country, before finally deporting them. The baby, named Jacob, was born in late December. His mother was five-months pregnant when she left Trinidad with her husband and nine others to travel to the Middle East. Efforts by Sunday Newsday yesterday to contact the baby’s parents were unsuccessful, but it was confirmed by immigration sources at Piarco International Airport, that the family endured almost seven hours of questioning by Special Branch officers along with the other deportees. According to immigration records, eight of the 12 are Aneesha Aqueelah, 29; Attiyah Salima Nikkah, 17; Khalilah Asma Mohammed, 12, Ashaki Tyana ...

12 Trinidad nationals deported from Turkey caught with ISIS recruiter in 2016.

This just in 12 persons all nationals of Trinidad and Tobago who were detained.d in Turkey since 2016, have all been deported back to their home country They arrived in Trinidad on Friday, 28, 2017. As I have indicated in numerous post’s on this Blog and on my Soualiga Youth Blog https://soualigayouth.wordpress.com/2017/04/11/regional-guides-to-life-after-islamic-state/ The returning fighters from Trinidad and Tobago who are returning to Trinidad will be a totally new and unpredictable reality not only for that country but they already have and will continue to alter the reality of the region, to the point of no return. Their fighting skill far exceeds that of the regional police, no regional military has seen a quarter of the combat that these combatants have. Their value to say narcotics trafficking cartel or an organization like the Jamaat al-Muslimeen is inestimable. The male combatants who return to the region, are a source of military, know how, a skill which can be outso...

Letter to the Editor: Our KPSM (Police Force) April 26, 2017.

The following is a letter to the editor on 721 News Gromyko Wilson’s local news website. The letter is a damning condemnation of the corrupt system of governance locally and particularly the police corp and all other security and intelligence apparatus on Sint Maarten. The letter came from the KPSM, which stands for the Korps Politie Sint Maarten/The Sint Maarten Police Force. We were not prophets, but we saw it coming. From the decision that 10-10-10 the Antilles would be dissolved, we saw the misery, and we saw it right in our own organization, the Police Force. We saw managers after managers come and go. Waste and drain all the government’s money, without bringing any stabilization or balance in this Force. Nowadays, we’re coping with a management team that had never been prepared for the task that fell into their lap. No strategy, no preparation, no skills, no priority, no vision. In one word nothing at all, and you can see that, because even their own household is not ...

Hassan Atwell and Scanny Martin they set the stage for young Trinidad men to, accept “shuhada” (martyrdom).

Image
Trinidad is now infamous as the place in the western hemisphere from whence, the most jihadist’s per capita has immigrated (hijrah) to Iraq and Syria. Shane Crawford (deceased) is the most known jihadist, from Trinidad to date. I have written many posts on my Blog about Crawford and jihadism, in a Caribbean context. In any movement whether, fundamentalist or otherwise there must always be forbearers, those who shouldered the burden of responsibility to propagate in behalf of a given message, in the case of a jihadist, such propagation must entail that a jihadist must be prepared to sacrifice his or her life in the furtherance of their goals. One such propagator was Hassan Atwell along with his accomplice (brother in jihad), Scanny Martin. The two men set the stage and tone for all others who desired martyrdom (shuhada), to follow in their footsteps. Bear witness then to their reality in the suicide operation that inspired a generation.         ...
